If you're anything like me, you're probably done with all things winter and are starting to look ahead into warmer, longer days! Because winter weather does quite the number on our skin, I always up my moisturizing routine for the colder months. Now that we've entered April, I'm looking into products that will help prepare my skin for the warmer temperatures.

Dewy, soft skin and a little highlighter can go a long way but honestly, it really starts with your diet. Everything that you put in your body will have an impact on your skin. Staying hydrated, cutting back on sugar and artificial flavours and eating healthy fats are key.

Now that we've mentioned diet, let's move on to products.

MOISTURIZERS
I cannot leave the house in the morning without moisturizer. With that being said, I have tried quite a few and have landed on a few favourites that I come back to time again and again. I'm currently using the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. It is very rich in texture, which I love, but some may find it a bit too heavy for Spring. I will continue using it for a few more weeks and then switch to a lighter texture.

EXFOLIANT
There are several exfoliants that I have tried, but so far, the Dermalogica exfoliator is my favourite. It's gentle enough and makes my skin feel so smooth! Use it twice a week for baby smooth skin!

SELF-TANNERS
Coming out of hibernation now that it's Spring and in need of a little boost? A little self-tanner as part of your skincare routine will go a long way.

SERUMS
In the past year, I have added serums to my skincare routine and have tried a few. I'm dying to try the Drunk Elephant Vitamin C Serum as I've read great reviews about it! I'll keep you guys posted. When using serums, make sure to use them twice daily, after your cleanser and toner.

SPF
No matter what your skincare routine is, you absolutely need to be using SPF daily. Most days, I only use a CC cream that includes an SPF. You can find an SPF that works well with your skincare routine already; whether it's a moisturizer + SPF, or on it's own...just make sure not to skip this step. I have added a few SPF favourites below.

MAKE UP
Some of these are irresistible due to their pretty packaging alone! I'm currently using the Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow Face Primer (I've linked it below). You can add it to your foundation or use it alone. I use it over my moisturizer for a dewy look. I love how natural it is without it being overpowering. I've heard great things about the Hourglass Ambiant Lighting, so I will definitely be trying that one next!

I hope you have found this helpful! Leave me a comment below letting me know which skincare products are your absolute must-haves!
